Project Kusha, also known as the Extended Range Air Defense System (ERADS), is India’s ambitious indigenous long-range surface-to-air missile program developed by the DRDO to provide a multi-layered aerial defense shield with ranges up to 400 km.

System Features

Interceptor Variants: Utilizes three distinct missile tiers—M1 (150 km range), M2 (250 km range), and M3 (350 to 400 km range).

Target Coverage: Designed to track and neutralize stealth fighters, fighter jets, cruise missiles, drones, and airborne early warning aircraft.

Network Integration: Connects directly into the Indian Air Force’s Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) for real-time automated threat responses.
