A Kuwait Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is an official document issued by the authorities in Kuwait certifying that you have no criminal record during your stay. It is often required when applying for employment, long-term visas, migration, or residency abroad.
To obtain a Kuwait PCC, you typically need your passport (old and new copies if you have changed passports), visa pages showing entry and exit from Kuwait, your Kuwait Civil ID (if applicable), passport-size photos, and proof of stay or exit. Applicants may also need to submit a fingerprint record in the format required by Kuwaiti authorities.
If you’re outside Kuwait (for example, back in India), you can still apply for PCC via your country’s Indian embassy or a recognised outsourcing centre. Your application will trigger police-record verification in India, after which a new PCC can be issued and sent to you.
For the PCC to be valid abroad (e.g. for visa or immigration), it commonly must be attested — first by Indian authorities if issued in India, then by the Embassy or relevant foreign authorities.
A properly attested Kuwait PCC assures employers, visa-offices, and immigration authorities that you maintained a clean record while in Kuwait — helping avoid delays or rejections in international applications.
