I’ve been putting off redoing my business site for way too long, but I think I’m finally at the point where I need to just deal with it. Looking around at sacramento web development options and honestly there’s a lot of variety out there some places are all about the visuals, others seem more focused on speed and how the site actually functions day to day. Still trying to figure out what’s actually worth paying for versus what’s just add-on fluff for a small business like mine.
The site I have now is a few years old at this point and it shows. It’s slow, doesn’t look right on a phone, and honestly doesn’t even represent what we do anymore since the business has changed a bit. I keep reading that this kind of thing quietly costs businesses customers people just bounce before they even get to see what you offer.
If anyone’s worked with someone local recently, I’d genuinely like to hear how it went. What ended up mattering most once you got into it, and was there anything you wish you’d asked about upfront? Just trying not to waste money on something that ends up being all polish and no real improvement.
